NEVE CAMPBELL ADDRESSES ‘SCREAM’ FRANCHISE MOVING ON WITHOUT HER: Neve Campbell isn’t holding a grudge when it comes to the Scream franchise proceeding without her. Deadline reports that the Wild Things actor spoke about walking away from Scream VI due to feeling “undervalued” in terms of pay, while at Monster-Mania Con earlier this month. “I actually thought they did a really good job. I think the cast are really powerful, wonderful actors,” she said about the latest film. “I don’t wish these movies ill will. I wanted the movie to be good. It’s not like I’m sitting in my house going, ‘I hope it sucks, I hope it doesn’t do well.’ I care about all the people involved.” She added, “There’s someone at the top who only thinks about money and that’s their prerogative.”
JACKIE CHAN AND RALPH MACCHIO TO UNITE FOR NEW ‘KARATE KID’ MOVIE: According to Us Weekly, Sony Pictures Entertainment released a video on Tuesday (November 21st) announcing that Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio will star in the next installment of the Karate Kid franchise together. “Hi, everyone, we got big news!” Chan said in the clip. Macchio added, “We’re starring in a new Karate Kid movie together.” Chan also revealed that they are “looking for the next Karate Kid!” Macchio explained, “That’s right — the global search for the star of our new film starts right now. So, let’s wax on, wax off, everybody.” The film is scheduled to hit theaters on December 13th, 2024.
JIM CARREY IS NOT REPRISING HIS ROLE AS THE GRINCH: Jim Carrey is denying the reports that he’s reprising his role as The Grinch for a sequel to the 2000 movie How the Grinch Stole Christmas. A rep for the actor told People on Tuesday (November 21st), “There is no truth to Jim reprising his role as the Grinch in a sequel to The Grinch.”
JON HAMM SHARES THAT THERE WAS A ‘DEDICATED NIPPLEOLOGIST’ ON SEASON FIVE OF ‘FARGO:’ Jon Hamm detailed the process behind achieving his pierced nipples for the fifth season of Fargo while speaking on a recent panel. “I had to have some very blue latex put on my nipples, and then they cast a resoundingly lifelike pair of nipples, which they then pierced and placed over my own nipples, and we shot said nipples,” Hamm explained, according to Variety. He added, “The crew doesn’t get enough credit, but there was a dedicated nippleologist.”
