WolfPack struggle against Cougars

KAMLOOPS — The Thompson Rivers WolfPack men’s and women’s basketball teams welcomed the Regina Cougars inside TCC last night (Nov. 18), but couldn’t secure a victory.

On the women’s side, TRU lost 83-56 after the visiting team opened a 24-point advantage in the second quarter. Meanwhile, the men’s game featured two of the strongest defenses in the conference and the teams were tied 28-28 at the half. However, the ‘Pack couldn’t score when they needed it the most, losing 54-49.

TRU will now head out on their bye next weekend before finishing their first half of the season schedule on the road at the University of Victoria.
