B-100 Basics for Babies aims to stock up Kamloops Baby Bank

KAMLOOPS — Friday morning (Nov. 17), Kamloops residents are gathering to support the Kamloops Food Bank’s smallest clients at the annual B-100 Basics for Babies.

The event collects money and crucial baby supplies for the Kamloops Food Bank to be able to provide support for families in need.

Given the amount of families currently using the food bank on a regular basis, Events and Communication Coordinator Kennedy Epp says organizers are hoping for a large turnout.

“This event is really our only event for the Baby Bank which we have downstairs. That Baby Bank supports our community’s most vulnerable, so people are able to access that for all sorts of baby products. Things like diapers, formula, baby food.”

Basics for Babies is hosted at the Delta Hotel by Marriott at 540 Victoria Street, with breakfast and live entertainment from Jeremy Kneeshaw and Brendan Methot between 7:00 a.m and 9:30 a.m.

Tickets can be purchased ahead of time online using this link and donations can be dropped off at the Delta Hotel lobby.
