Thompson Regional Hospital District Board approves contract for Cancer Care Centre advocacy campaign

KAMLOOPS — At the most recent Thompson Regional Hospital District Board meeting, a contract worth $75,000 was approved for an Kamloops Cancer Centre advocacy campaign.
The contract is a 10-month term, beginning later in November 2023.
“The negotiated contact price for this contract is $75,000. A portion of this cost will be covered by remaining funds for the TRHD operating budget for 2023, and the outstanding balance will be budgeted for in 2024,” reads the report presented to the board.
The campaign will include research and messaging, a public relations strategy, campaign branding, community engagement, and more.
