RCMP arrest a man and seize a handgun after spotting suspicious vehicle on the North Shore

KAMLOOPS — An investigation into a suspicious vehicle led Kamloops RCMP to find a loaded handgun, illegal drugs and a man wanted on a warrant on the North Shore over the weekend.
In a news release issued Tuesday (Nov. 7) afternoon, RCMP say they found a Chevrolet Malibu with license plates reported as stolen on the 900-block of 13th Street at around 5:40 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 4).
Three people connected to the vehicle were arrested. While two of the men were released as part of the ongoing investigation, RCMP say the third suspect was found to be wanted on a DNA warrant.
Anyone with information that may be related to the investigation is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP.
