Independent Investigations Office examining pedestrian collision in Revelstoke

REVELSTOKE, B.C. — The Independent Investigations Office (IIO) of B.C. is currently investigating an incident in Revelstoke that led to the serious injury of two people Sunday (Nov. 5).
According to Revelstoke RCMP, an off-duty RCMP member collided with a male and female pedestrian on 4th Street near Campbell Ave. at around 4:34 p.m.
Both pedestrians were rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Details of the collision, including what led up to the incident and the extent of the injuries, are still under investigation.
