Vehicle incident halts eastbound traffic on Okanagan Connector between Merritt and Kelowna

UPDATE (8:30 a.m.): DriveBC says the stretch of Highway 97 fully reopened.

UPDATE (7 a.m.): DriveBC says the Okanagan Connector at Brenda Mine Road now has a lane open in each direction.

EARLIER: MERRITT, B.C. — A vehicle incident has closed the eastbound lanes of the Okanagan Connector from Merritt to Kelowna.

DriveBC first reported of the incident on Highway 97C at Brenda Mine Road east of Pennask Summit at around 5 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 2).
