Local Jeep community to light up Kamloops in honour of Shannon White
KAMLOOPS — It’s now been two years since Shannon White went missing, after the Kamloops woman didn’t show up at work on November 1, 2021. And two years later, the investigation into her suspicious disappearance still hasn’t been resolved.
Wednesday evening (Nov. 1), Shannon White’s friends will be hosting a rally in her honour. White was an avid member of the off-road Jeep community in the region, and the friends she made will be hosting another gathering in the hopes of bringing her home.
“To basically light up Kamloops,” explains organizer Angela Hulsman. “We’re hoping everybody has lights on their vehicles and signs and stuff. And we’re just going to cruise through Kamloops and remind people that we’re here, what we’re here for, and remind everybody that Shannon is still missing and we’re still looking for her.”
