Suspect arrested, charged in 2021 murder in 100 Mile House
100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — Exactly two years after a murder in 100 Mile House, RCMP have arrested and charged a suspect.
On October 19, 2021, RCMP responded to the sound of gunshots in an industrial area of 100 Mile House. Upon arrival, police found a person suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim died of their injuries a short time later.
Last Thursday (Oct. 19), the B.C. Prosecution Service approved a charge of first degree murder against 100 Mile resident James Eugene Perkins.
A warrant was issued for Perkins’ arrest and he was taken into custody the next day.
