Helicopter part stolen from truck parked in downtown Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are on the lookout for unique, valuable items that were stolen from a vehicle downtown last week.
In a news release issued Monday (Oct. 23) morning, at around 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, RCMP say they were told of a work truck that had its back window smashed and tools stolen from inside while parked on the 600-block of Victoria Street.
“A pelican case with a helicopter part inside was stolen, that is likely of no use or value to whoever took it,” Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says.
