VICTORIA, B.C. – After their biggest win of the season against the No. rankend UBC Thunderbirds, the Thompson Rivers WolfPack men’s soccer team weren’t able to secure a victory against the UVic Vikes, losing 1-0 last night.

“Unfortunately the first half wasn’t one of our best,” said WolfPack head coach John Antulov. “I don’t know if we were tired or what, but we probably weren’t as sharp as we’d like to be. The second half we definitely turned that around and were much better, but just weren’t able to put the ball into the net.”

With one game left on their regular season, TRU holds the Pacific Division’s fourth and final playoff spot. The team will now travel to Edmonton, where they will face the MacEwan Griffins on next Sunday (Oct. 22).
