Vehicle incident affecting traffic on Okanagan Connector

UPDATE (8:30 a.m.): DriveBC says flaggers and RCMP are on scene on the Okanagan Connector between Elkhart Road and Sunset Main Road.

Westbound traffic is reduced to single lane as the right lane remains blocked. Additionally, the exit ramp is closed.

There’s no timeline on when the scene is expected to be clear.

EARLIER: MERRITT, B.C. — A vehicle incident is impacting traffic on the Okanagan Connector between Kelowna and Merritt Friday (Oct. 13) morning.

DriveBC first reported of an incident that closed traffic on Highway 97C at Elkhart Road shortly before 5 a.m. Friday.
