Missing Prince George man located in Merritt area

MERRITT, B.C. — A 67-year-old Prince George man reported as missing last month has been located and is safe.

John Young was on his way from Prince George to Logan Lake when he was last seen on Sept. 21. He was traveling in his vehicle to Duncan.

RCMP say on Sept. 30 hunters who were in the Merritt area found Young, whose vehicle had been stuck.

Young was taken to hospital with minor injuries due to being stuck out in the elements but is otherwise okay.
