KAMLOOPS — Kamloops residents may see military vehicles and hear blank ammunition northwest of the city at the end of October.

In a news release issued Friday (Oct. 13) morning, 39 Canadian Brigade Group says members from Canadian Armed Forces reserve units in Vancouver will undergo combined arms training in the Lac Du Bois off-road vehicle (ORV) area.

“There will be night training which may be seen, and all road safety conditions will be maintained during night tactical movement. Residents in the area should expect increased traffic entering and exiting the Lac Du Bois ORV area, and a large administrative camp may be seen,” 39 Canadian Brigade states.
