City of Williams Lake extends state of emergency for Terra Ridge complex

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — The City of Williams Lake has renewed its State of Local Emergency (SOLE) for the Terra Ridge strata development at 500 Wotzke Drive.
Four of the 80 units in the complex were issued a ‘Do Not Occupy’ order on September 15 after the city received a concerning engineering report.
The four units were put on evacuation order on September 29, with the other 76 units in the complex put on alert.
In a news release issued Wednesday (Oct. 11), the City of Williams Lake says it is working with the province to finish off geological and structural engineering studies.
