Ashton Tait scored his first Western Hockey League (WHL) goal by pouncing on his own rebound then Connor Levis turned the puck over and put it away with a backhand in front of the Wenatchee net.
The Blazers kept their momentum early in the second period with two goals in 19 seconds. Dylan Sydor dragged the puck in the right circle before sniping it blocker side and Bryce Minten’s chance off the rush deflected off a Wild skate and in to make it 4-1.
