Nicola Valley Hospital emergency department closed during Thanksgiving weekend

MERRITT, B.C. – The emergency department at Nicola Valley Hospital is closed due to limited physician availability. Interior Health said services will be unavailable from Sunday 8 a.m. to Monday 8 a.m.

In the meantime, Merritt and area residents can access care at Royal Inland Hospital, in Kamloops.

This is the fifteenth time this year the department had to close its doors due to lack of staff.
