RCMP probe death of 66-year-old man in Lone Butte

LONE BUTTE, B.C. — RCMP are investigating a suspicious death in Lone Butte.

In a news release, 100 Mile House RCMP say officers were called at about 11:00 a.m. on Sunday (Oct. 1) to a suspicious death in the community.

In addition to police, firefighters and B.C. Emergency Health Services personnel attended and tried to revive the victim, who was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has been identified as a 66-year-old man.
