New upgrades bring interpretive signage, community garden to West Highlands Park

KAMLOOPS — Users of West Highlands Park in Aberdeen will notice some new interpretive signage throughout the park.

Unveiled last week, the new signs are part of an educational program called the Climate Connections Trail.

In a news release, the City of Kamloops says the initiative “aims to inspire exploration, reflection and local climate action.”

In addition to the signage, the trail features an accessible, 1.8-kilometre loop trail, an outdoor amphitheatre and a community garden.
