PRINCE GEORGE, B.C.–The Thompson Rivers WolfPack men’s volleyball team extended their winning streak with a third consecutive victory. They played against the MacEwan Griffins in Prince George and captured a 3-1 victory inside the CNC Gym.

Matthew Hamilton spearheaded the ‘Pack’s offense with ten kills, three blocks and an ace. Rylan Ibbetson contributed eight kills, as well as digs and two blocks. Rookie Deakon Anderson delighted the hometown PG crowd with six kills, two blocks, and three aces. In addition, he went on a nine-point serving run during the fourth set.

“Was another solid performance for our team in front of a good crowd,” said head coach Pat Hennelly. “Walker Sodaro made his first start with the ‘Pack and picked up 22 assists with two aces and three blocks. I think both teams will be a bit sharper tomorrow night.”

These two teams will compete with each other again today (Sept. 23) at 7:00 p.m. in the UNBC Gym.
