WolfPack tie with Cougars

KAMLOOPS — The Thompson Rivers WolfPack women’s soccer team tied 1-1 with the Regina Cougars in Saskatchewan Sunday afternoon. Berea Woldeyes scored for the Pack, opening her Canada West scoring account.
Both goals came within the first ten minutes of the game. Sierra Kolodziej scored for the Cougars just two minutes into the game and the WolfPack responded right after that.
The Pack is now just one point behind the UVic Vikes for the fifth and final playoff spot in the Pacific Division.
TRU will now be playing home next weekend. They will host the Lethbridge Pronghorns Friday night at Hillside Stadium before welcoming the Calgary Dinos in a game at MacArthur Island Field 2 on Saturday.
