TRU Men and Women’s Soccer teams in action this weekend

KAMLOOPS — TRU WolfPack both Men and Women’s Soccer team played against UNBC Timberwolves last night.

Close to 1000 fans went to Hillside Stadium to support the women’s team. Ainsley Grether, Kat Stewart and Raiya Rumo scored for TRU, securing the 3-0 victory against the visiting UNBC Timberwolves.

However, the men weren’t so lucky. Playing in Prince George, the WolPack lost 3-1 against UNBC.

Games will continue today, when the women will face the UBC Thunderbirds at Hillside Stadium at 5 p.m., while the men will play the same Timberwolves in Prince George at noon.
