Elderly motorcyclist dead after collision in Knutsford

KAMLOOPS — A man in his 70s is dead following a single-motorcycle collision in Knutsford.
In a news release issued Friday (Sept. 8) morning, Tk’emlups Rural RCMP say they responded to a report of a crash involving a motorcycle on Highway 5A at Cardu Hill at around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Officers arrived and found paramedics tending to the motorcyclist, along with civilians who were first on scene and provided first aid.
The man was sent to hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening at the time, although Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says he sadly succumbed to his injuries later that night.
