Blazers name former player and Kamloops local Aaron Keller as director of player personnel
KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers promoted a team legend and Kamloops local.
In a news release issued Wednesday (Aug. 30) morning, the Blazers appointed Aaron Keller as their director of player personnel. Keller will be responsible for the Blazers’ scouting staff and 50-man player list.
Keller played for the Blazers for four seasons from 1992 to 1996, including the teams that won the Memorial Cup in 1994 and 1995.
Since returning to Kamloops in 2017, Keller has served as a development coach with the Blazers. He also spent the previous four years as technical director of the Kamloops Minor Hockey Association.
