Stein Mountain wildfire northwest of Lytton leads to another evacuation order and alert

KAMLOOPS — The Thompson Nicola Regional District (TNRD) has expanded an Evacuation Order north of Lytton due to the ongoing growth of the Stein Mountain wildfire. The latest order was delivered Thursday (Aug. 24) afternoon.
Two addresses, 3892 and 3907 Spencer Road N are now in the zone of an Evacuation Order. Those living at those addresses must leave immediately and report to the Reception Centre at the Lillooet Recreation Centre or register online by using the Evacuee Registration & Assistance tool.
