One person dead after collision between Jeep and logging truck west of Williams Lake

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — One person is dead following a crash west of Williams Lake last Wednesday (Aug. 9).

In a news release issued Tuesday (Aug. 15) morning, Williams Lake RCMP say they and BC Highway Patrol responded to Highway 20 in Riske Creek at around 10 a.m. Wednesday for a reported collision between a Jeep Gladiator and a logging truck.

Police say the driver and sole occupant of the Jeep Gladiator was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say no further details are available.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or have dashcam video, is asked to contact BC Highway Patrol – Williams Lake at 250-392-6211.
