Billie Eilish still ‘very good friends’ with Jesse Rutherford

Billie Eilish says she and Jesse Rutherford are still on good terms following their split in May after less than a year of dating. During an Instagram Story fan Q&A on Saturday, someone asked where the two currently stand. “Very very good friends,” Eilish wrote. “Only [anatomical heart emoji]. My homie forever.” Another fan later asked is the pop star is currently dating anybody new. “NO SIRRRRRRR,” she replied with three smiling emojis and a selfie.

Eilish and Rutherford, best known as the frontman for The Neighbourhood, were first linked when they were seen making out during a Los Angeles date in October of 2022. Fans were immediately critical of their 10-year age gap. Eilish later said she was “really happy and excited” to be with Rutherford and called him the “hottest f—ing f—er alive.”
