Single vehicle crash Monday near Williams Lake kills passenger

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — RCMP in Williams Lake say a woman died in a highway crash outside the community earlier this week.
In a news release, North District RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says police were called to the crash on Likely Road at about 8:23 p.m. on Monday (July 31).
Emergency service personnel were treating victims of a single vehicle crash when officers arrived.
The vehicle’s passenger, an adult woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
