Kamloops lawyer suspended again, fined for practicing law while suspended
KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops lawyer will start a three-month suspension in September after being found guilty of professional misconduct.
The Law Society of B.C. (LSBC) issued its decision in the case of Nick Weiser Tuesday (July 25).
In a news release, LSBC says Weiser will also be fined $11,384.
The LSBC hearing panel found had practiced law in March 2021 while under suspension, despite having detailed information spelling out what he could and could not do while suspended.
