TNRD issues evacuation alert for 360 properties south of Kamloops

UPDATE (2:05 p.m.) The wildfire has since increased to 350 hectares and is still out of control. B.C. Wildfire service say crews and air tankers will be heading over to the site of the wildfire this afternoon. Heavy equipment will be on site at the wildfires as well.
EARLIER (12:16 a.m.) KAMLOOPS — The Thompson Nicola Regional District has issued an evacuation alert for 360 properties due to the Ross Moore Lake wildfire burning south of Kamloops.
The Ross Moore Lake wildfire is listed as ‘Out of Control’ and burning about 20 km south of Kamloops. It’s currently listed at 95 hectares.
