Kamloops RCMP looking for man who allegedly threatened Valleyview resident with machete

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are searching for a suspect who allegedly threatened someone with a machete in Valleyview last week.
In a news release issued Thursday (July 20) morning, RCMP say officers were called to the Owl Road area at around 2:35 p.m. Friday (July 14). A person was reportedly threatened with a machete after he asked the suspect to leave his private property.
Police attended and arrested one man, then later released him as part of the investigation.
The suspect with the machete was not found. He’s described as a white, bald man, approximately 35 years old, with tattoos on his arms, wearing no shirt and blue jeans, and riding a bike.
