Sun Peaks looks to the TNRD for its new CAO

SUN PEAKS, B.C. — The Resort Municipality of Sun Peaks has appointed its new chief administrative officer (CAO).

In a news release issued Wednesday (July 19) morning, Mayor Al Raine announced the appointment of Deanna Campbell as Sun Peaks’ new CAO effective Aug. 14, 2023.

“As a current Sun Peaks resident, I am passionate about this place and everything it has to offer, and I am committed to its success,” Campbell states. “I look forward to working closely with Council, staff, stakeholders and the community, as we continue to build on the great work already being done here and explore innovative solutions to address the current and future needs of the community.”

Prior to joining Sun Peaks, Campbell worked with the Thompson-Nicola Regional District as its general manager of corporate and legislative services. She began her local government career with the Resort Municipality of Whistler and has also held positions with the B.C. and federal governments.
