Man sent to hospital with bruising and deep cuts after reported assault in Salmon Arm
SALMON ARM, B.C. — A man was reportedly sent to hospital after being assaulted in Salmon Arm.
In a news release, Salmon Arm RCMP say a man was in his car and looking for someone at Beatty Avenue North West and Narcisse Street North West Thursday (July 13) at around 11:20 a.m.
Police say the man approached three other men to see if the person he was looking for was nearby. Shortly after, one man allegedly returned and assaulted the other man in his car from the open passenger door. The victim suffered bruising and deep cuts to his arms and forehead.
The suspect is described as a man in his 20s with darker skin and short dark hair.
