Kamloops Airport passenger numbers ascending

KAMLOOPS– The local air travel industry is on its way to recovery, three years after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic grounded the majority of travellers.

According to the Kamloops Airport, local passengers taking flights have seen a 35 per cent increase compared to this time last year.

In a passenger statistics report, the airport released traveller numbers for the second quarter of 2023.

Though the numbers are not quite what they were pre-pandemic, Ed Ratuski, managing director of the Kamloops Airport, says they are on the up.
