Rivers FC come up short in loss to Nautsa’Mawt FC

VANCOUVER — It was a tough weekend for the Rivers FC’s men’s and women’s soccer teams.

The two teams made a trip over to Thunderbird Stadium to face Nautsa’Mawt FC on Saturday (July 15). Rivers FC’s men’s side fell 2-1 after Tomas Pena scored in the 81st minute to give Nautsa’Mawt the lead while the women fell short 4-1.

Alesandro Comita and Emily Clark scored the lone goal for the men’s and women’s sides respectively

Next up, Rivers FC will host the Vancouver Whitecaps FC Academy on Sunday (July 23) at Hillside Stadium. Kick off is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
