Kamloops RCMP investigating break-in at North Shore home
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are looking for video and witnesses after a home on the North Shore was broken into Wednesday (July 12) afternoon.
In a news release, RCMP say a resident on the 300-block of Oak Road reported he had been away from his house for a couple of hours and returned home to discover someone had been there while he was gone.
“Based on the placement of items and things that were missing and left behind, it is suspected that someone entered the house while the homeowner was out and spent some time there before leaving,” Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says.
Anyone who witnessed the reported break-in or has information related to it, or has security cameras in the area that may have captured anything that could help further the investigation, is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP.
