Sun Rivers residents subject to boil water advisory await resumption of normal service

TK’EMLUPS — Sun Rivers residents are into their third day of a boil water advisory.

The situation began on Monday (July 10) when a significant leak was detected in a water main in the Sagewood area that feeds the Sun Rivers reservoir system.

Corix Utilities says repairs began Tuesday and residents were placed under a precautionary boil water advisory.

While the leak itself has been repaired, Corix is continuing to conduct tests on the system to ensure the problems have been rectified.
