Residents in Barnhartvale, Campbell Creek asked to reduce water consumption

UPDATE (1:57 P.M) : Repairs to the reservoir have been completed. The City says residents should continue reducing the use of unnecessary water for the remainder of the day to allow the water systems to replenish.
EARLIER (12:02 p.m.) : KAMLOOPS – The City of Kamloops has issued an alert asking Barnhartvale and Campbell Creek residents to reduce water use.
According to the City, crews are working to repair a mechanical issue affecting the Barnhartvale water reservoir. The City advises individuals to reduce water consumption, including irrigating, washing vehicles, and other unnecessary uses of water.
More updates will be posted on the City’s website as they become available.
