TRU WolfPack Men’s Soccer recruits high-end left back for upcoming season

KAMLOOPS — The Thompson Rivers WolfPack announce their newest signing for the men’s soccer team.

Ebalo Amuri will be playing as a left back and the head coach John Antulov believes he will be a great fit for the team.

“I think Ebalo is going to be a player for us with his great technical ability, speed and pace. The way he is able to get up into the attack is going to be a huge asset for our program,” said Antulov in a news release.

The speedy defender is originally from Manitoba and it has taken him a lot of perseverence to make it to this point in his soccer career. Amuri endured an ACL injury in 2022 and was bouncing back to earn a sport with the reigning national champions.

“After a long time recovering, TRU gave me the opportunity to showcase my love for the sport and the chance to fight to compete at that next level,” Amuri said.
