Vehicle incident closes Cariboo Highway through 108 Mile Ranch

UPDATE (9:15 a.m.): DriveBC says the stretch of Highway 97 reopened to single-lane alternating traffic. Drivers are asked to watch for traffic control.

EARLIER: 100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — A vehicle crash is expected to cause major delays on a section of the Cariboo Highway.

DriveBC initially reported of the incident on Highway 97 between Easzee Drive and Hickling Road in 108 Mile Ranch at around 6:15 a.m. Friday (July 7).

The roadway is closed in both directions, with small vehicles being detoured through Easzee Drive to Telquo Drive onto Cariboo Drive.
