And the 2023 Kamloops Y Dream Home Lottery grand prize winner is…

KAMLOOPS — The 2023 Kamloops Y Dream Home Lottery held its draw at the home on Coldwater Drive in Juniper West Wednesday morning (June 28).

The winner of the big prize is Tom Beveridge. Lottery spokesperson Bryce Herman called the winner to break the news shortly after the draw took place.

The grand prize home is the most valuable prize in the history of the lottery at about $1.38 million.

Meantime, Sunroop ‘Sunny’ Dulay won the 50/50 jackpot of $468,578.50.

A full list of prize winners has now been posted online.

The lottery is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Kamloops Y and its programs.

“Without a doubt makes a huge difference for us. It allows us to continue to do the charitable work in the community as well as run the programs. Certainly we have come through a period of time here where membership hasn’t been the easiest thing to continue with, but these lotteries have been life-blood keeping the organization alive, keeping the lights on, keeping people employed and allowing us to do the great work we do in the community,” said Herman.
