CORVALLIS, OR — The Kamloops NorthPaws dropped a barn-burner in the rubber match of their three game set with the Corvallis Knights.

After splitting the first two games of the series, the six-time defending West Coast League Champion Knights came out firing Monday night, putting up a 8-run first inning to jump ahead.

The NorthPaws however would not go quietly into the night. Kamloops returned serve with six runs of their own in the top of the second and the race was on. In the end the ‘Paws were unable to come all the way back, falling 13-11.

Robin Villenueve, 2-3, and Tommy Green, 2-3 (HR), led the offense for Kamloops with 3 RBI each. Tyler Glowacki, Jude Hall, and Cooper Neville also brought home a run in the contest.
