I am a disabled woman (d level paraplegic) who visited the new splash park to attend a birthday party with my grandchildren. Let’s just say that walking isn’t my strong suit so when we walked up to the hotel my sister tried to hail a cab but none would take all 6 of us. Just at that moment, a lady exited the hotel. She was helping out for the Memorial Cup and offered me a lift closer to the birthday party. This was AFTER she offered to follow me to a lot that was available to the public. Just so happens that when we were leaving the event and walking the kilometre trek to the car, guess WHO just so happened to be exiting out that same door- notices me and offers to give me a lift again to my vehicle. This lady deserves to be RUNNING THE PUBLIC RELATIONS DEPARTMENT of the whole chain of hotels! Not only did she do ALL this for me she also paid the parking for me, with her OWN money when my card was declined! Please I nominate her! - What does this Business do to help our community?
