NorthPaws’ struggles continue after sweep to Wenatchee
KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops NorthPaws were swept by the Wenatchee AppleSox after losing both games of a double header Thursday (June 22) from Norbrock Stadium.
After the start of the series was rained Tuesday, the NorthPaws dropped game on 3-0 on Wednesday, then proceeded to lose two games on Thursday by scores of 9-6 and 9-5.
“The only thing missing is putting it all together,” Cooper Neville, NorthPaws infielder states.
“We have really good pitching one day and then really good hitting another day. Once we all start moving together, we should see better results. Obviously, it is a bit disheartening losing six games in a row.”
The NorthPaws are now 4-14 on the 2023 season, good for last place in the North Division and the overall West Coast League standings.
