Volunteers search for two missing boaters on Stump Lake

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Search and Rescue (KSAR) has suspended search activities after spending the day on Stump Lake, south of Kamloops.
Volunteer Search Manager Alan Hobler says KSAR was tasked with trying to find two missing boaters. Hobler says the boaters failed to return to their camp.
KSAR had nine members on the lake, looking for the boaters, but have now suspended operations for the day.
CFJC Today has requested more information from Merritt RCMP, the lead investigating authority, and will update the story when more information is available.
