KAMLOOPS — After a shaky 0-6 start to their 2023 season, the Kamloops NorthPaws have won back-to-back series.

The NorthPaws exploded for five runs in the ninth inning on the road Thursday (June 15) against the Edmonton Riverhawks en route to a 10-5 win. Kamloops won two of three games in Edmonton after winning two of three at home against Corvallis.

“We grew up a lot this weekend,” Keith Francis, NorthPaws head coach says. “There as all kinds of adversity beginning with the long trip here. We lost players due to sickness, there were times when we were down. But I couldn’t be prouder of these guys. After having only five hits against Corvallis, we rectified things in a hurry-especially in the last two games.”

The NorthPaws’ record is now 4-8, good for sixth in the West Coast League North Division.
