Two-vehicle MVI claims a life south of Quesnel

QUESNEL, B.C. — One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash about 35 kilometres south of Quesnel Wednesday afternoon.

RCMP say it happened just before 2 p.m. though the cause hasn’t been released.

The crash closed Highway 97 in both directions for around six hours as investigators combed the scene.

The crash involved a semi trailer and a pickup. No other information has been released.
