RCMP renew call for information into shooting of 17 feral horses near Walhachin
WALHACHIN, B.C. — The RCMP’s Livestock Section is renewing its appeal for information into the suspicious deaths of 17 Skeetchestn traditional horses near Walhachin.
In a news release issued Monday (June 5) morning, police say investigators have received considerable information since the horses were killed in the hills above Thompson River Estates between Kamloops and Ashcroft on March 10, but they are appealing for information once again.
Additionally, police say the Skeetchestn Indian Band still feels despair following the deaths and desires answers and closure.
