RCMP searching for missing senior travelling to Lytton

HOPE, B.C. — RCMP are trying to find a Vancouver Island man last seen in Hope.

In a news release, RCMP say 89-year-old Leslie Desfosses of Saanich was last seen in Hope last Tuesday (May 16) at 4:30 p.m. while travelling to Lytton.

Desfosses is described as a white man standing 6’2” and weighing 179 lbs with white hair and blue eyes. Police say he wears glasses, and was last seen wearing a purple t-shirt, brown shorts and brown sandals.

Desfosses’ vehicle is described as a grey 2012 Subaru Forester with B.C. license plate 925SLA.
