String of small wildfires spotted North of 100-Mile House

KAMLOOPS — A string of small wildfire have popped up North of 100-Mile House. In the past 24-hours, nine new fires have sparked in the region.

The Cariboo Fire Centre has the nine wildfires listed as out of control at this time. The fires range in size from less than 1-hectare to almost 20 hectares.

In the Kamloops Fire Centre, there is currently seven active wildfires, all of which are listed as under control. Across the province there are 77 active fires burning.
